You Will Need:
Your baby
Directions:
Tiptoe your fingers over your baby’s body: up her arms and legs, across her belly, etc. While tiptoeing, recite this poem: “Tippy Tippy tiptoe, off we go. Tippy Tippy tiptoe, to and fro. Tippy Tippy tiptoe, through the house. Tippy Tippy tiptoe, quiet as a mouse."
Tip:
By the time they’re four months old, babies are noticing the individual sounds you make and are learning how vowel and consonant sounds are used together.
Babies under six months respond to a high-pitched voice.
For children over six months, avoid using “baby talk” but make your voice very rhythmic.
