Learning at Home

Cornstarch Goop

You Will Need:

1 cup cornstarch, 1 cup water, tub or large pan, spatula, spoon, other kitchen gadgets

Directions:

Put cornstarch in pan. Slowly add water to cornstarch. Let your child stir. This makes a very interesting consistency, part liquid and part solid. Scoop and scratch with kitchen gadgets.

Tip:

This can make a mess, so do this in the kitchen. You may want to put an apron or an old shirt on your child. When your child is through, keep cornstarch goop in a container for the next time. It will dry out but can be revitalized by just adding water.
