Montessori on the Mall is located just off the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver in the Independence Plaza building. The building runs the entire block from 16th to 17th and Curtis to Arapahoe and is located across the street from the Clock Tower. Businesses on the 16th street side of the building are Rock Bottom Brewery, Paradise Bakery, and Tokeyo Joe's. Our suite is located at the 17th and Arapahoe entrance of the building on the Plaza level.

About Our Faculty

Bright Horizons educators strive to provide the highest-quality Montessori curriculum and learning environment for each individual child. Every member of our community is valued for their distinctive abilities, talents and personalities. We embrace diversity in all its forms at all levels of the Bright Horizons family. To facilitate this unique educational experience, teachers of the Montessori approach undergo very specific education and training. Montessori teachers prepare and adapt the environment to match children's readiness, both for the age group and the individual needs of the child. Additionally, they are trained to be keen observers of children in order to sequence and optimize lessons or activities to make the most of learning moments.

  • Description: I have completed my Associate in Early Childhood at the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies. I have also earned my major in Human Development for licensure in Early Childhood Education. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, skiing and yoga. I believe that I have the power and responsibility to change a child’s life. Just starting the day with a smile and having high expectations of the child goes so far.

I attended the Community College of Denver to complete my Early Childhood Education courses. I have also completed the Expanding Quality for Infant and Toddlers course, CPR, First Aid and Universal Precautions. What I enjoy most about working with yound children is watching them gorw, and discover new skills.

I have worked with children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years for over 15 years. I love to playing Frisbee Golf and driving in the mountains. My interests are music and football. I love the fact that I can help teach young children their foundational skills for life and watching them grow into young children. I have two children of my own.

She enjoys cycling, gardening and spending time with her family.
