Montessori on the Mall is located just off the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver in the Independence Plaza building. The building runs the entire block from 16th to 17th and Curtis to Arapahoe and is located across the street from the Clock Tower. Businesses on the 16th street side of the building are Rock Bottom Brewery, Paradise Bakery, and Tokeyo Joe's. Our suite is located at the 17th and Arapahoe entrance of the building on the Plaza level.

About Our Faculty

Bright Horizons educators strive to provide the highest-quality Montessori curriculum and learning environment for each individual child. Every member of our community is valued for their distinctive abilities, talents and personalities. We embrace diversity in all its forms at all levels of the Bright Horizons family. To facilitate this unique educational experience, teachers of the Montessori approach undergo very specific education and training. Montessori teachers prepare and adapt the environment to match children's readiness, both for the age group and the individual needs of the child. Additionally, they are trained to be keen observers of children in order to sequence and optimize lessons or activities to make the most of learning moments.

I have worked with children between the ages of 6 weeks and 5 years for over 15 years. I love to playing Frisbee Golf and driving in the mountains. My interests are music and football. I love the fact that I can help teach young children their foundational skills for life and watching them grow into young children. I have two children of my own.

I have been working with children of various ages for over 20 years. I have gained my experience by working at Bright Horizons, with a YMCA childhood program and running my own licensed child care center for 9 years. As well as working with children I enjoy movies, music bowling and hanging out with my beautiful daughter. I love working with children because they are so delighted in learning and the simplicity of everyday life.

  • Description: Ms. Natalie grew up in Florida and shortly after graduating high school at Dunedin academy, moved to the west coast and attended the Santa Monica Montessori institute. This is where she also did her teaching internship and continued teaching there as a lead for the two years following. After that she moved to Chicago where she taught as a lead 5 years with a wonderful Montessori school in Highland Park. During her time in Chicago she also became a certified yoga instructor and taught an afterschool yoga program for children ages 3-6 for 2 years. She moved to Denver and started working with Montessori on the mall where she is getting to enjoy the joys of Denver and all that Colorado has to offer.

    Position: Educational Coordinator

    Description: Crystal is the Education Coordinator at Montessori on Mall and has worked here since 2013. She has worked with children of all ages since she was a teenager. She has professionally worked with children since 2003. She is Director Qualified through the state of Colorado. Outside of school she enjoys spending time with her husband Daniel and two children Cai and Silas. They love camping and enjoying the outdoors. Crystal loves observing children and seeing their ah-ha moments when they discover something for the first time.

    Position: Head of School

    Description: I have worked In Early childhood Education for the past 26 years. In this time I have held various positions from Assistant teacher to Owner of my own school. I joined Bright Horizons in December of 2015. Before joining Bright Horizons, my husband, Michael and I owned and operated our own childcare center for 12 years. I have three children, Deana, Jonah and Paige. My hope is that the passion I bring to the field will help grow new leaders who also have the desire to partner with families to ensure their children’s success in school and in life.

    Description: Linda is a DVP in Division 9 with over site of programs in Minnesota, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Wyoming, Montana,Colorado, Utah, and Idaho.Linda and her husband Kelly Have a son, David, Daughter-in-law Ashley, a Daughter Claire and Grand daughter Brooklyn. She enjoys cycling, gardening and spending time with her family.
